How ViewMatrix Digital handles personal data
This policy explains how ViewMatrix Digital handles personal data collected through viewmatrix.digital. It covers what is collected, why it is collected, how long it is kept, and how you can contact us about it. The operator of this site is TICKETMOBILE AS.
This is an informational website. We do not sell products or process payments through the site.
The short version
- We collect what you send us through the contact form and by email, plus basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view.
- We use that information to answer your enquiry, keep the site working, and understand general usage patterns.
- We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing.
- You can ask to see, correct, or delete the data we hold about you by writing to [email protected].
Policy published on this page. Effective 2 November 2026.
What we collect
We collect information you provide directly. That includes your name, email address, and the content of your message when you use the contact form. If you email us, we hold that correspondence.
We also collect limited technical data automatically when you visit the site, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. This is used to keep the site working and to understand general usage patterns.
Information you give us
Your name, your email address, and the message itself when you write to us through the contact form. The same applies to email correspondence: we keep the thread so we can follow up on the same enquiry without asking you to repeat yourself.
Technical data collected automatically
Server logs record your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you open, and the time of your visit. This is ordinary web-server logging rather than profiling, and it is used to diagnose faults and spot unusual traffic.
What we do not ask for
The contact form asks for a name, an email address, and a message. Nothing on this site requests payment details, identification documents, or account credentials, and we do not operate a customer account system on viewmatrix.digital.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.
Why we collect it
Contact form submissions and email correspondence are used to respond to your enquiry. If you ask about a website build, a mobile app, or ongoing maintenance, we need your email address to reply and your message to understand what you are asking about. Nothing more is required of you.
Technical data is used for site security, troubleshooting, and aggregate reporting. When we look at usage patterns, we look at totals and trends rather than individual visitors. That is how we tell which pages answer a question well and which ones need rewriting.
Legal basis and consent
Where you submit a form, you consent to us using the information to respond. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us, and we will stop using the information for that purpose. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything that happened before you asked us to stop.
Where technical data is collected for security and operational purposes, we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site functioning. That interest is limited to running the site and defending it against misuse; it does not extend to profiling you or building a marketing picture of your behaviour.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site may use cookies and similar storage for basic functionality and for understanding how pages are used. The cookie policy describes the categories used and how to control them through your browser.
Read the cookie policyHow long we keep data
Retention is deliberately uneven: correspondence is kept for the length of a conversation, logs are kept for much less.
| Data | How long it is kept |
|---|---|
| Contact form submissions | For as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any reasonable follow-up, then deleted or anonymised. |
| Email correspondence | Kept alongside the related enquiry so the thread stays complete, on the same schedule. |
| Technical server logs | Kept for a shorter period, typically for security and troubleshooting purposes. |
Sharing with third parties
We use service providers for hosting and email delivery. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own terms. We do not share personal data for advertising or marketing purposes.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of the site and its users.
In practice this means the number of organisations that ever touch your data is small, and each one is there to do a specific job: serve the pages you request, or carry an email to our inbox. Neither of them receives your information to use for their own marketing.
Hosting and email delivery are handled by providers who act on our instructions. They do not receive your information for their own use.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, request corrections, or ask for deletion. You can also object to certain processing. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
Confirming identity is not meant to be a hurdle. It exists so that nobody else can ask for your data or have it deleted on your behalf. A reply from the same email address you wrote to us from is usually enough.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including restricting access and using reputable hosting providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot promise that data will never be affected by an incident. If something does go wrong, we will tell the people affected.
Children
This site is intended for business readers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if our practices change. The revised version will be published on this page with a new effective date, and the date at the top of the page tells you which version you are reading. If a change affects how we use information you have already sent us, we will say so plainly rather than quietly editing the text.
